Andrew Marshall
'Playlist of the Week' ... Mondays 6pm-7pm
Andrew is 19 and a media student living in Aberystwyth. He enjoys the full range of music genres and, in his own words, 'lives, sleeps and breathes music!' In his spare time, he performs with a local amateur dramatics society, Castaways, and loves his work as a Radio Bronglais presenter. Andrew also runs a karaoke/disco. Listen to his playlist on Mondays, linked each week to a specific theme!
Alys Gower
'The Sunday Show'... Sundays 1pm-2pm
Alys is 22 and from Cardiff. She is currently an English Literature student at Aberystwyth University. She was inspired to join Radio Bronglais after spending some time at Radio 1 on Greg James’ show. Alys's show is an eclectic mix of music spanning 70s rock, 80s glam and cheesy 90s pop, along with her favourite picks from the current scene. She will also be giving you the lowdown on the latest celebrity gossip and airing stories surrounding stars featured in her show.
Miriam Rose
'The Cosy Show' ... Wednesdays 7pm-8pm
Miriam says she always wanted to join the team at Radio Bronglais - but it took her a quarter of a century to get around to it! In her own words: ‘I like melodies, dance-in-your-chair toe-tapping tunes (old, new, borrowed and quirky), and have a button box full of surprises. When the moon is right, Nan Zodiac breezes by with some fun advice for the future, and in every show Disc Seren brings a little hwyl into proceedings’.
Pete Harris
'Yesterplays' ... Mondays 2pm-3pm
Pete recently retired from a career in teaching, where he taught mathematics and ICT. Prior to this, he worked in the information technology industry, specialising in system consultancy and bespoke software training. In the 1970s, Pete was a professional club DJ working alongside iconic bands such as Slade and Hawkwind, at major venues in South Wales. In Pete's words: 'It's great to be presenting music to an audience once again - I've missed it!
Rob Rouse
'Start the Weekend' ... Fridays 5pm-6pm
'The Sports Show' ... Saturdays 6pm-7pm
Rob is the longest serving member of the current presenters, having joined Radio Bronglais in 2000. Rob enjoys dance music and his 'Start the Weekend' show features some of the best dance tracks, old and new. On Saturdays, 'The Sports Show' is a lively mix of sport and music, featuring national and local sports results, interspersed with occasional interviews and the latest music charts.
The Bryster
Bronglais Rocks! ... Thursdays 7pm-8pm
Ex-musician/singer/songwriter The Bryster likes nothing better than pushing the studio sound system to the limit with the best rock music the planet has to offer. Bronglais Rocks is the definitive rock show this side of the Cambrian Mountains! A former navy Petty Officer, he explains the rationale behind Bronglais Rocks, saying, 'Being in hospital doesn't mean you get a sudden urge to listen to Mozart. I've been in hospital. I wanted to listen to Nickelback'.
