The Studio
Radio Bronglais now occupies new purpose built facilities within the grounds of the hospital - consisting of the studio, record library/prep. area, office, toilet, kitchen and reception. We now broadcast on 87.8FM using 50mW erp. enabling anyone with a radio to pick up our broadcasts anywhere within the hospital. We also still use the 100 Volt Line loop system distributing our output to the patients' bedside radios.

We've recently invested in a new computerised database system for our ever increasing record library. This enables our volunteers to find any record, CD or minidisc for requests received. This is just as well really, seeing as there is over 25,000 tracks at the last count! Radio Bronglais uses 3 types of media: Vinyl, CD and Minidisc.
