Welcome to the official Radio Bronglais website. We are now in our 41st year of broadcasting to Bronglais Hospital, Aberystwyth. Our volunteers are a mixture of local people and university students. We are keen to encourage more local people to get involved at the station - there are many different ways in which you can contribute. If you have a couple of hours to spare each week, we need help in fund-raising, running the station's administration, organising and updating our music database, audio/technical, IT and, of course, presenting our programmes. If you have any previous experience in these areas, we would be especially pleased to hear from you!

Annual membership fees are:

£15 - Presenting Members             £10 - Non-Presenting Members

Membership fees help us to meet the costs of running the station. Full training is provided to new members - training is flexible to suit individual needs and interests and takes around 10 evenings.

Fundraising

Fundraising is very important. During the year we arrange events that include street and supermarket collections. Local businesses advertise in the Radio Bronglais magazine, which we produce twice a year, and this helps us financially. We also receive charitable donations from fund-raising initiatives organised by local groups, and we extend our thanks to all those who support us.

The Committee

The executive committee meets regularly and we have three general meetings during the year for members to attend.
